Continuing in my found objects and paper obsession, here are a collection of drawings done on found paper : usually on the back of menus from work or other peoples left over paper.
Lines are made using the edges of lip balm, tacks, computer keyboards, business cards, coins . . anything in a close proximity!
These sketches follow the same creative process of using surrounding objects to create line work. Using gouache, I do color studies for future prints.
These are portraits of spaces and rooms. I would put a dot where a piece of furniture or an object were in the room, and then connect the dots to create an abstract representation of the space.
